Dr. Kuehnle maintains a private forensic and clinical practice in Tampa, Florida, and specializes in forensic evaluations, including parenting plan (i.e., child custody) and personal injury evaluations, with particular sub-specializations in allegations of child sexual abuse and intimate partner violence. She provides expert witness testimony and consultation to attorneys, mental health experts, and other professionals. Dr. Kuehnle has authored articles published in peer review journals and has written 15 book chapters and five books. She is the lead author/editor with co-author Dr. Leslie Drozd of Parenting Plan Evaluations: Applied Research for the Family Court published in January 2012. The second edition of her book Assessing Allegations of Child Sexual Abuse, written with co-author Stephen Sparta, will be published in 2013. She is the lead author/editor of Evaluation of Child Sexual Abuse Allegations: A Comprehensive Guide to Assessment and Testimony (2009), and Child Custody Litigation: Allegations of Child Sexual Abuse (2007).  She is a co-author of the book In the Name of the Child: A Developmental Approach to Understanding and Helping Children of Conflicted and Violent Divorce, 2nd edition (2009).
